The climate in the chaparral is hot and mostly dry. Sometimes the tempeture is very mild but can get very hot and very freezing. The chaparral mostly gets about 10-17 inches of rain when it is in the winter. Plants who have hard leaves mostly survive than the thinner plants. The climate of the chaparral is hot and windy. Especially in the summer when it's dry and when no winds blow. But in winter it's complete different. It rains a lot in the and it can get very cold too. The animals living there have to be careful or else they could die. But even so with these conditions they managed to live.
-Alexa Aburto-

The climate in the chaparral is sometimes arid and sometimes temperate. So the climate can be really hot and dry or cool and just right. The animals are used to the heat because they have adapted to the climate. Sometimes rain occurs and the plants get happy because they get water which is their food. The chaparrals climate may bother some animals but not all animals. -

The chaparral's climate is warm and dry. The animals are used to the heat because they have already adapted to there. The climate is really important to the animals because it would be very hard for an animal to adapt. lt is warm and dry because of the sun. The climate is very important.- fti115 fti115 Mar 31, 2008mountain.jpg

The chaparrals weather is pretty nice. It is also warm and it can be sort of dry at times. It is easy to adapt to the weather and the same with the animals. It is nice because the sun is mostly out every single day. I guess it is just like California weather! I love it a lot.external image carrizo_plains.jpg

The climate in the chaparral can get very warm but it can also get very cold in the winter. The animals that live in chaparrals have to have fur in order for them to stay warm in the winter. The chaparrals can be very dry or they can be green with a lot of plants it depends if it gets a lot of sun. –chaparral climate

The chaparral's climate can have a huge range. The range would be around 40 degrees all the way up to atleast 100 degrees. The climate is like this because night and day depends on the weather. The season also makes the climate different. The weather they get there would probably be just mostly rain because the climate is around that range for rain.[- coolo044 coolo044 May 1, 2008]

In the summer it's always hot. And in the winter, it's mostly cold. And in the spring, it's usually warm. but this year is different. It's almost summer, and it fells like winter. There are tornadoes in California when it never happen before in the past. It's like we are in the history in make in the making!

In the chaparral it is very warm and hummid but not in the summer time. In the summer time it could get really dangerouse because there could be wild fires in the chaparral wich makes the weathere very dry and also very hot. In the chaparral it is a nice place to be because of its weather but not when it comes to the fire all the fire happens because of the mountains, hills, and all of the beautifull grass that it has so look out for more of those wildfires and be aware!! - axr044a axr044a butterfly-weed.jpg

The climate is very hot and windy. It very rarely rains. If it does, it gets only a few inches of rain. The Chapparel is a very beautiful place. There is lots of flowers there so there needs to be sun and rain. There is no SNOW.

Climate:
The climate in the chaparral is a little bit hot but its not really cold so the animals are fine the climate gets sometimes windy but it gets really hot.The animals have to suffer when it gets hot because they have fur and they can't pull there fur off so some animals shed there fur so it wont keep them hot. There fur gets old and the old fur falls of and grows new fur so thats how the animals shed.
